Moreover, as a raw material of magnetic materials, China has abundant reserves of rare earth resources, so it is expected that permanent magnet motors will occupy the motor market of new energy vehicles in China for a long time.

The cost of new energy automobile motor accounts for about 10% of the whole vehicle. Usually, a new energy vehicle is equipped with a motor, and up to 96% of the pure electric vehicle motor and electronic control are supplied. In December 2016, the State Council approved and promulgated the “13th Five-Year National Strategic Emerging Industry Development Plan”, clearly stating that by 2020, new energy vehicles will achieve more than 2 million production and sales in the same year, with cumulative production and sales exceeding 5 million. The market estimates that China's electric drive system will have a demand of 31 billion yuan in 2020, of which new energy passenger cars account for 73%, new energy special vehicles account for 14%, and new energy buses account for 12%.
