In electric locomotives, subway trains, and electric bicycles, DC motors are applied. When DC motors are used for a long time, some faults will inevitably occur. The DC motor is repaired. 1. Check the main chip of the DC motor, find the PWM output position from the circuit board, turn the handle, and measure whether the voltage value at this point changes (generally 0-5V). If there is no change, it can be judged that the chip is damaged. Normal, continue to search backwards.
2. Check the power tube drive circuit, turn the rotary handle, and measure whether the gate voltage value of the MOS tube changes from small to large (typically 0-12V or 0-15V). If there is no change, it indicates that the drive circuit has problems. If the damaged component is found and replaced, the fault is eliminated. If the change is normal, the drive circuit has no problem. At this time, the cause of the fault can be judged to be an open circuit damage of the MOS power tube.
3. Check the interface of the external functional components of the DC motor and measure whether the voltage value at this point changes from small to large (typically 1-4V). If there is no change, it means that there is a problem with the input circuit of the turn. If it is normal, Find the brake input pin on the main control chip, measure whether the voltage of the foot is normal, and judge whether there is a problem with the input circuit of the brake.
4. Check the power management circuit of the DC motor. Use a multimeter to measure whether the output voltage of each point is correct. If there is any problem, find the damaged components and replace them.
