New energy vehicle motor shipments of 28,900 units
Affected by the year-on-year growth in sales revenue and gross profit margin of motor and electronic control products, from January to June this year, Wolong Electric realized operating income of 5.385 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 277 million yuan. It increased by 113.48% year-on-year.
The data shows that Wolong Electric's main business includes three major sectors: motor and control business, power battery and photovoltaic power station. The motor and control business includes new energy vehicle motors and controllers, as well as low-voltage motors and drives, micro-motors and controls.
During the reporting period, Wolong Electric's new energy vehicle drive motor shipments were 28,889 units, of which passenger car drive motor shipments were 25,703 units, accounting for 88.97%.
Wolong Electric publicly stated that it is expected that the company's new energy vehicle motor will achieve about 80,000 units of delivery this year, and at the same time fully complete the mass production preparation of overseas customers.
It is understood that in the first half of the year, Wolong Electric has obtained a fixed letter of the first 560,000 new energy vehicle drive motors and parts from a world-renowned auto parts company, and officially entered the supply chain of overseas mainstream luxury car companies.
According to the high-tech electric vehicle network, Wolong Electric has provided motor matching for various pure electric passenger cars such as Red Star X2, Changjiang Yikuo, Shaanxi Tongjia, and Beiqi New Energy A00. At the same time, Wolong Electric also provided supporting equipment for pure electric logistics vehicles of Zhongtong Bus, electric buses of Yunnan Wulong Automobile, and electric logistics vehicles of Jiangsu Kawei Automobile.
In recent years, Wolong Electric has continuously increased its R&D and production investment in the field of new energy vehicles. In July 2015, Wolong Electric and Shanghai Dajun jointly established Zhejiang Wolong Dajun New Power Motor Co., Ltd. to build a new energy automobile motor production assembly line.
In October of the same year, Wolong Electric invested in the construction of a new energy vehicle powertrain industrialization project. The project is progressing smoothly and is expected to further release production capacity.
