The GP series robots launched by Yaskawa are produced by the Ancheon Changzhou plant. General Manager Shibuya Hiroshi introduced the GP series as a successor to MH in 2017 and is a versatile robot. Although the original robots of Yaskawa Electric are mainly spot welding robots and arc welding robots, they are mainly engaged in market activities. In recent years, Yaskawa's robot product line has become more diversified, involving the development of the general industry, 3C and other industries.
The new multi-purpose robot GP series realizes high speed, high precision, anti-interference, high transportable weight and high IP level. The new generation GP series robots are suitable for handling, assembly, dispensing, loading and unloading, and grinding of small parts. They are ideally suited for 3C and home appliances where space, precision and rapid development are required. The GP series is the new generation of robots with the fastest movement speed and highest motion accuracy in Yaskawa's existing robots.
Among them, the newly introduced industrial small 6-axis robot MotoMINI is easy to change the placement position, and realizes the high degree of freedom of human-machine cooperative sharing work. It can be used for assembly and operation of small parts, as well as for the sharing and insertion of electrical and electronic parts. MotoMINI has three characteristics: small size, light weight, high precision. By combining M2M and cloud-based production line monitoring technology and remote maintenance technology, the robot has the flexibility and scalability to meet the small production of multiple varieties. Safety is also fully considered and can be used in collaboration with humans.
