BLDCM is a typical mechatronics product, which is composed of motor body and driver. Because the BLDCM is operated by automatic control, it will not add additional starting winding to the rotor like the synchronous motor started by heavy load under frequency conversion and speed regulation, nor will it produce oscillation and out of step when the load suddenly changes. At present, the permanent magnet of small and medium capacity BLDCM is made of Nd-Fe-B with high magnetic energy. Therefore, the volume of rare earth permanent magnet BLDCM is smaller than that of three-phase asynchronous motor with the same capacity.
BLDC motor is also known as DC frequency conversion because it has the characteristics of DC brush motor and is also the device of frequency change. It is also known as BLDC. The operation efficiency, low speed torque and speed accuracy of BLDCM are better than those of any control technology.
