The gear motor has a relatively long service life and relatively stable performance, but sometimes various problems inevitably occur during use. Excessive oil temperature is a common phenomenon encountered by many people during use. There are many reasons why the oil temperature is too high. If the temperature is too high, it is easy to cause the machine to heat up and affect the use. Once it is found that the oil temperature of the machine is too high, it should be investigated in time. Here are the reasons why the oil temperature is too high.

1. The quality of the lubricating oil is unqualified or the use time is too long.
If the added lubricating oil is expired, or the type is inconsistent, or not replaced for a long time, the oil temperature of the reducer is too high.
2. Too much lubricating oil.
Generally speaking, adding lubricating oil will also cause the oil temperature of the gear motor to be too high.
The oil level must not be higher than the upper limit of the dipstick or visible hole.
3. Internal parts are damaged.
The inner and outer rings of the gear reducer motor oil and the bearing cage are damaged, and the gear pitting or tooth fracture will cause the oil temperature to be too high.
4. The exterior is covered with debris or dust.
During long-term use, if the gear motor is not cleaned carefully, the surface will be covered with dust, which will affect its heat dissipation and cause the oil temperature to rise. In addition, if there are debris outside, it will also lead to poor heat dissipation and increased oil temperature.
5. The cooling device is blocked or failed.
If the cooling device used in the right-angle gear reducer is placed in a dusty environment for a long time, it is easy to block or fail, causing the oil temperature to rise.
The above five points are the reasons why the motor oil temperature is too high. Once the gear motor is abnormally used, it is necessary to stop the investigation, find out the key points of the problem, and take scientific and effective solutions to ensure normal use in the future.
