In the long-term operation of the gear reducer, faults such as wear and leakage often occur, mainly including:
1. The wear of the bearing chamber of the reducer, including the wear of the housing bearing box, the bearing chamber of the box hole, and the bearing chamber of the gear box.
2. The gear shaft diameter of the reducer is worn, and the main wear parts are the shaft head, keyway, etc.
3. The reducer wears the bearing position through the transmission shaft.
4. The joint surface of the reducer leaks.
For the wear problem, the traditional solution is machine maintenance after repair welding or brush plating, but both have some disadvantages: the thermal stress caused by the high temperature of repair welding cannot be completely solved, and material damage is prone to occur, but due to the limitation of coating thickness, The brush plate is easy to fall off, and the above two methods are to repair the metal with metal, which can neither change the "hard to hard" matching relationship, but also cause re-wear. Some large bearing enterprises cannot solve on-site problems and rely more on external maintenance. For the leakage problem, the traditional method needs to disassemble and open the reducer, then replace the sealing gasket or apply sealant, which is time-consuming and laborious, and leakage will occur again during operation. The polymer composite material can control the leakage on the spot, and the material must have excellent adhesion, overcome the influence caused by the vibration of the reducer, and solve the leakage problem of the reducer well.
