What are the main factors that affect the quality of the motor?

There are three main factors affecting the quality of the motor: material quality, quality system, and personnel quality.

1. The motor material is made of special ratio steel, which reduces the energy loss by 20%-50% in terms of copper loss, iron loss and mechanical loss, thereby greatly improving the overall efficiency. The expected service life of a motor can exceed twenty years.

2. Windings are the second most likely cause of motor damage.

After long-term operation, the insulation system, including the enamelled copper wire of the winding, begins to be damaged and a short circuit occurs. A good quality motor can be rewound without seriously reducing the efficiency of the motor. The lower the operating temperature of the motor, the longer the life of the insulation system. Typically when the motor is running at full load, the temperature can drop to 60-80°C, while low quality motors can exceed 90°C. Theoretically, a 10-15°C lower operating temperature can double the winding life and refueling time.

3. The key components of the motor: The bearing is the most prone to failure of the motor.

4. The stator is made of silicon steel sheets

This is a thin, low-loss steel sheet with insulation. These silicon steel sheets must perform consistently and be as thin as possible to maximize the magnetic field strength.

5. Rotor shaft, fan, and junction box, etc.
