Like other motors, washing machine motors need to have a nameplate attached to the fuselage for illustration. There are some main parameters on the nameplate, showing the basic information of the motor and indicating some key functions for the washing machine manufacturer. However, since the type and field of use of the motor are different from other motors, the contents of the nameplate are also different.
Let's take a fully automatic washing machine motor as shown in the figure as an example. It is a single-phase induction motor, and the product is suitable for pulsator fully automatic washing machines. The parameters marked on the motor nameplate of such a fully automatic washing machine mainly include product model, motor type, rated voltage, frequency, output power, rated current, capacitance, series, insulation level, protection level, circuit diagram, manufacturer, production time Wait. Of course, the parameters that do not appear do not mean that they are not important. Some other motor nameplates will also mark parameters such as speed, steering, and duty.
Let's take a closer look at the parameters marked on the nameplate in the diagram:
1. XD-150. XD means a fully automatic washing machine motor or a capacitor-operated asynchronous motor for washing machine washing, and 150 means 150W. Motor models for washing machines are usually distinguished by the combination of motor type and output power. In some cases, if YYG is marked, it means that this is a dehydration motor for a washing machine.
2. WASH MOTOR. This refers to the washing machine washing motor. Generally indicate the type and field of use of the motor, and in some cases also note the aluminum wire winding to distinguish it from the copper wire winding. In some cases, if it is marked SPIN MOTOR, it means that this is a dehydration motor for a washing machine.
3. 220V. 220V refers to the rated voltage. Foreign trade export orders for household washing machine motors need to pay special attention to the scope of application of the rated voltage of the motor. Our country uses 220V, while European countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France use 230V, and Asian countries such as India, Indonesia, and Malaysia The country also uses 230V, and Japan uses 100V.
4. 50Hz. 50Hz refers to the AC frequency, that is, the frequency at which the motor is connected to the AC power supply, with 50Hz or 60Hz pulses for polarity switching. Our country uses 50Hz, as do countries such as Britain, Germany, France, India, Indonesia, and Japan, while the United States uses 60Hz.
5. 150W. This is the output power of the motor. Normally, the output power of the motor for a fully automatic washing machine is in the range of 70W to 240W, the output power of the washing motor for a semi-automatic washing machine is in the range of 60W to 220W, and the output power of the dehydration motor for a semi-automatic washing machine is 30W. to the range of 90W.
6. 1.5A. This is the rated current of the motor. Rated current refers to the current when operating at rated power at rated voltage. Under normal circumstances, the rated current of the fully automatic washing machine motor is in the range of 0.75A±15% to 1.9W±15%, and the rated current of the semi-automatic washing machine is in the range of 0.75A±15% to 1.9W±15%. The rated current of the dehydration motor is in the range of 0.55A±15% to 0.95W±15%.
7. 4P. This is the number of stages of the motor, determined by the number of pole pairs. Each set of coils of the motor will generate a pair of N and S magnetic poles, a pair of magnetic poles is 2P, and two pairs of magnetic poles are 4P. Generally, both fully automatic washing machine motors and semi-automatic washing machine motors are 4P.
8. 10μF/450V. The nameplate lists the size of the maximum power factor correction capacitor, 10μF is the capacitance, and 450V is the withstand voltage value, that is, the maximum voltage that the capacitor can load. If the withstand voltage value is greater than the withstand voltage value, it may cause damage to the motor or other components. Induction motors work by using capacitors to create power and phase offset sine waves to rotate the magnetic field.
9. CLASS F. This refers to the insulation class, usually a letter designation, including "A", "B" or "F", depending on the ability of the insulation material used in the motor winding to withstand a given operating temperature, that is, ambient temperature plus temperature rise. Class B insulation materials generally withstand a working temperature of 130°C, and Class F insulation materials can withstand 155°C.
10. MADE IN CHINA. Since this is an export order for foreign trade, it shows that it is made in China. Generally, domestic sales will not have this mark on the nameplate.
11. 2022.08. This is the production time of the motor. Generally speaking, except for urgent orders, foreign trade export orders for washing machine motors have a production and delivery cycle process, so it is recommended that overseas buyers arrange orders in advance, place orders early, produce early and ship early, so as not to be overdue.
12. The wiring on the far right. The above circuit diagram has YELLOW, GRAY and BLUE, that is, the three colors of yellow, gray and blue. The color of the wire is not limited to the above three colors. The color of the wire represents which wire belongs to the live wire, the neutral wire, and the ground wire. In fact, there is no clear regulation. A washing machine manufacturer has a standard and can only be connected according to the circuit diagram.
13. Company name. This refers to the English name of the manufacturer of the motor, which is only marked in the foreign trade export order. Generally, only the Chinese name is marked for domestic sales.
