In the 1980s, China's home appliance industry entered a period of rapid growth. As an imported new home appliance category, vacuum cleaners were quickly sought after by the domestic market, and the products were in short supply. At that time, most of the vacuum cleaner motors produced in China were micro motors with a speed of less than 3000 rpm, and the failure rate was very high. In 1994, Ni Zugen founded Tianwo Electric, and began to engage in the research and development of household vacuum cleaners and ODM export business. In the early 1990s, the speed of domestic vacuum cleaner motors was generally 23,000 rpm, and the weight could reach 1.5 kg. It can be said that the weight is large, the volume is large, and the efficiency is low. Tianwo independently developed the first high-performance motor with a speed of more than 30,000 rpm in China, realizing the lightweight, miniaturization and performance of the motor. Under the financial, technological and environmental conditions at the time, this innovation was not easy. Tianwo first started to tackle the problem of paint dripping on the rotor of the motor. Since the high-speed rotation of the motor will generate huge heat, it is easy to cause the rotor to drip paint and cause the machine to burn. Therefore, Tianwo collected paint raw materials all over the world, and the R&D team experimented with various paint materials and processes one by one in the high-temperature aging room. After half a year of exploration, research and testing, in 1997, we successfully independently developed China's first high-performance series motor with a speed of 33,000 rpm. The speed is increased by 40%, the weight is reduced by 30%, the efficiency is increased by 20%, and the power reaches 1200 watts. The innovation of this motor has established Tianwo's leading position in the domestic vacuum cleaner industry. Since then, it has also opened the prelude to cooperation with international big brands.
In the next few years, Tianwo continued to carry out technological innovation. On the premise of the continuous reduction of the motor volume, the power continued to increase, and gradually increased to 1400 watts, 1600 watts, 18 million watts, and 2000 watts. At the same time, the motor speed was gradually increased to 43,000 RPM, 45,000 RPM, 50,000 RPM, 60,000 RPM.
With the wave of consumption upgrades, Tianwo began to try the research and development of wireless vacuum cleaners in response to the inconvenient use of traditional wired vacuum cleaners. In 2015, Tianwo's second-generation 100,000-rpm 380W brushless digital motor was born.
