Analysis of the operation principle of the electric fan starting capacitor

The operation of any equipment is inseparable from the capacitance, and the operation principle of different electrical equipment is different. So what does the point fan start capacitor? As we all know, after the fan starts, it starts running by itself. But if it can't start, it just hum but doesn't work. And this is also closely related to the electric fan start capacitor.

Generally speaking, the capacitive motor is called a single-phase motor, and the key to the operation of the electric fan is to start the motor. To make the single-phase motor can be automatically rotated, we can add a starting winding in the stator, the starting winding and the main winding in space is 90 degrees different, the starting winding has to be connected to a suitable capacitor, so that the current and the main winding in the difference is approximately 90 degrees in phase, which is the so-called phase separation principle.

 

So that two electricity that differ 90 degrees in time will flow into two windings that differ 90 degrees in space will produce a rotating magnetic field in space. Under the action of this rotating magnetic field, the rotor can automatically start up. After starting, when the rotation speed rises to a certain extent, the starting winding will be disconnected with the help of a centrifugal switch or other automatic control device installed on the rotor, and only the main winding works normally.

 

In single-phase motors, another method of generating a rotating magnetic field is called the mask pole method, also known as the single-phase hood pole type motor. This kind of motor stator makes the convex pole type, there are two poles and four poles. So, divide the magnetic pole into two parts, and set a short-circuit copper ring on the small part, just like covering the magnetic pole, so it is called the cover pole motor. The single-phase winding set is on the whole magnetic pole, and the coil of each pole is in series, and the resulting polarity must be arranged as N, S, N, and S. When the stator winding energized, in the main magnetic flux, according to the law, through the short circuit copper ring in a phase lag 90 degrees in the induced current, the magnetic flux in the main magnetic also lag in phase, its function and the capacitive motor start winding, thus produce rotating magnetic field to make the motor rotation.
