If the pulse type is not well controlled, one plc can control six or seven axes at most, and multiple motors require multiple upper positions. If you use the bus type, you only need two signal lines and power lines to connect all the motors in series. You also need a host computer or motion control card to control the stepper motor drive system. You can use the bus type directly from the computer. Some products require a torque mode during the movement. For example, the lock screw machine uses a torque mode. The pulse type cannot control the motor current to adjust the torque, and the bus type can do it.
