The 24v dc motor factory tells you the operating precautions and protective measures of the DC motor.
DC motor operation notes:
(1) Check whether the appearance of the commutator can be bright before use, and there should be no mechanical damage or spark burn marks;
(2) Check whether the brush has worn too short, and the pressure of the brush holder is appropriate (usually the pressure should be 150-200 g / cm?), whether the brush holder orientation can meet the requirements of the symbol;
(3) The spark on the commutator during operation shall not be greater than 1/4 - 1/2.
DC motor protection measures:
1, monthly protection: look at the carbon brush and commutator, do a good job of cleaning, if necessary, replace the fan filter. Check all the collector rings, DC motors, and collectors for proper operation and see the thickness of the wires on the terminals and components. Check to see if there is water inside the main cabinet and DC motor.
2, quarterly protection: look at the bearings (temperature, sensation and noise). Use a shaker to check the insulation to the ground (not less than 2 megohms)
3. Protection every six months: boring airflow to clean the commutator and windings. Look at the electrical connections and all the screws. In order to adhere to the temperature of the motor during winter time, the following voltage (30-50V) can be supplied to the excitation.
