Rolling doors are a type of door widely used in commercial, industrial, residential and other places. The opening and closing operation is achieved by rolling up the door curtain. Due to its compact structure, easy operation and small space occupation, it is widely used in garages, shops, warehouses and other places.
Here is the operating principle of rolling doors: Rolling doors mainly drive the door curtain to rise and fall through the motor. The whole process includes the following steps:
Start and control: When receiving the control signal (such as remote control, button, etc.), the motor will start and drive the shaft of the rolling door to rotate.
Roller rotation: The door curtain of the rolling door is usually fixed on the roller. The motor drives the roller to rotate through gears or chains, and the rolling door is rolled up or lowered down under the drive of the roller.
Curtain movement: When the rolling door rises, the door curtain is rolled into the roller, and when the rolling door descends, the door curtain is released from the roller and unfolds downward.
Limit control: Rolling doors are usually equipped with upper and lower limit switches. When the door curtain reaches the preset upper and lower positions, the limit switch will disconnect the motor power supply and stop the motor operation to ensure that the door curtain does not exceed the set range.
Braking system: In order to prevent the rolling door from falling by itself due to gravity, the motor is often equipped with an electromagnetic brake device to ensure that the rolling door can stay firmly in the current position after stopping.
Safety device: Many rolling doors are also equipped with infrared sensors or pressure sensors, which can sense obstacles during the falling process and stop automatically to ensure safety.
The selection of rolling door motors should be determined according to the usage scenario, weight and frequency of the rolling door.
