Our sales staff always encounter some similar problems when receiving customers who want to transform energy-saving motors.
First of all, the most problems we encounter in sales:
"What is a field-assisted synchronous reluctance motor?"
"Why does this flux-assisted synchronous reluctance motor save power compared to ordinary asynchronous motors?"
"What's the difference between this magnetizing synchronous reluctance motor and a permanent magnet synchronous motor?"
"What is the power saving rate of your motors? How long will it take to pay back?"
These questions are questions that sales have to answer almost every day. Today, let Xiaobian summarize and reply to everyone!
Question 1:
We are a magnet-assisted synchronous reluctance motor, which is developed on the basis of the synchronous reluctance motor. The working principle is like an electromagnet (the stator winding is energized to generate a magnetic field) and sucks an iron nail. When the magnet rotates, the iron nail also follows. Rotating together, this is the so-called minimum magnetoresistance principle, that is, the magnetic flux is always closed along the path with the least magnetoresistance, iron is magnetically conductive, and the magnetic resistance is small, while the air is non-magnetic, and the magnetic resistance is large. The synchronous reluctance motor has an obvious defect. The power factor is low, about 0.7-0.75. After adding ferrite, the magnetic-assisted synchronous reluctance motor is obtained. The problem of low power factor of synchronous reluctance motor is solved, the power factor is raised to more than 0.9, and the torque output capability is improved, the efficiency of the motor is improved, and the energy efficiency level of IE5 is reached. Ferrite plays an auxiliary role, so it is called a magnet-assisted synchronous reluctance motor, also called a permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor.
Question 2:
The higher efficiency (ie high torque density) of the magnetic-assisted synchronous reluctance motor compared with the asynchronous motor in the same volume is determined by the operation principle of the two. There is a conductor on the rotor of the asynchronous motor, and the material is aluminum or copper. The structure is Squirrel cage type or wound type, its operating principle is that the conductor cuts the stator magnetic field to generate current, which in turn generates force to drive the rotor to rotate. Therefore, there will be losses on the rotor conductors of the asynchronous motor, that is, rotor copper losses. The operation principle of the magnetic-assisted synchronous reluctance motor has been explained above. There is no conductor on the rotor, no rotor loss, less loss and higher efficiency.
The asynchronous motor improves the efficiency of the motor by increasing the amount of material and increasing the grade of silicon steel sheet, reaching the IE5 energy efficiency level. However, due to the existence of rotor loss, when the actual operating condition deviates from the rated point, such as half-load or light-load state, the efficiency drops a lot. The magnetic-assisted synchronous reluctance motor can ensure high-efficiency output in the 20%-100% load operating range, has a wider high-efficiency range, and has high overall operating efficiency.
Question 3:
Permanent magnet synchronous motor generally refers to rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor, and magnetic-assisted synchronous reluctance motor belongs to high-efficiency synchronous motor. The permanent magnet synchronous motor mainly drives the rotor to rotate through the interaction between the rare earth permanent magnet and the stator magnetic field. Small size and other characteristics. However, the rare earth Nd-Boron permanent magnet material contains rare metals such as praseodymium, neodymium, dysprosium iron, etc., which are expensive, and are not resistant to high temperature, and are easy to demagnetize at high temperature. And the proportion of the cost of the entire rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor is relatively high, and the cost fluctuates greatly. However, the permanent magnet of the synchronous reluctance motor is ferrite, and its main raw material is iron red, so the cost is low, and it is resistant to high temperature and corrosion, and has high reliability and economy.
Question 4:
How long it takes to pay back depends on our power saving rate, so let's talk about the power saving rate first.
There are many factors that affect the power saving rate, such as the load conditions when the equipment is running, the use environment, the old condition of the original motor, etc., so the final comprehensive power saving situation needs to be determined by many factors. Our sales need to collect these with you. The information is fed back to our technology to estimate how much power your device can save. Then calculate the payback period. In general, the lighter the load, the higher the power saving rate.
At this time, I hope you cooperate with our sales to provide on-site information, the model of your original motor and the specific parameters of the nameplate, the operating load and operating data during operation, what equipment is used, and what control method is used.
