Improve the drilling efficiency and accuracy of the machine base
In order to further increase productivity, a multi-axle drive chuck can be added to a conventional drill press, or a multi-head drill press (combined drill press) can be used to process several holes at the same time. The end face of the small machine base adopts a multi-head drilling machine, which is arranged symmetrically on the left and right sides, and can drill or tap the both end faces of the machine base at the same time. The base is coarsely positioned on the intermediate body; when machining different bases, the positioning fixture on the intermediate body must be exchanged. Fine positioning by drilling the left and right tower tires during drilling and tapping. Each end of the drilling machine is equipped with eight drill pipes, four drill holes and four for tapping, and the radial distance is adjustable.
In addition to manual loading and unloading of workpieces, the multi-head drilling machine relies on the cooperation of hydraulic and electrical systems. The entire working cycle is automatic and the average productivity is 5 minutes per stand.
DC motor base magnetic pole hole drilling
If the pole hole on the DC motor frame is unevenly indexed, it will cause difficulty in assembling the pole and affect the performance of the motor. In mass production, the drill hole for drilling the pole hole can move left and right inside the carriage, and the carriage can move up and down in the V-groove. The indexing plate is used to align the position of the pole hole on the base and is positioned by the spring. This type of fixture is relatively versatile. When drilling, first place the base stop on the stop tire, clamp it with the pressure plate, shaft and nut to adjust the drill to the proper position. Drill two pole holes in sequence. Then, the indexing plate is used to rotate the base through a predetermined angle, and then the second set of magnetic pole holes are drilled. Continue this way until all the pole holes are drilled.
Some motor factories use a dedicated internal drill to machine the pole holes on the base. The workpiece is a vertical clamp. A set of drill bits is drilled from the inside out. After drilling a set of pole holes, the workpiece is rotated by a certain angle, and then the second set of pole holes is drilled. This cycle until all the pole holes have been drilled. The processing method makes the magnetic pole hole on the inner wall of the machine base evenly distributed, the inner wall of the machine base has no burrs, the magnetic pole has good contact with the machine base, and the work efficiency is high.
