If you are engaged in motor manufacturing, then this should not be missed on the BOM information!
1. Basic background knowledge
This definition is used in conjunction with national standard documents and is for reference only.
Product: a finished product provided by a manufacturing enterprise to a user or market in the form of a commodity;
Complete sets of equipment: the sum of two or more products that are used in production enterprises without assembly processes, but are used to complete the interconnected use functions;
Parts: a single finished product that is not manufactured using an assembly process;
Component: A finished product consisting of several parts (parts, sub-components) in a detachable or non-removable form; sub-components can be divided into 1 fractional component and 2 fractional component according to their subordinate product relationship.
Assembly: a complex finished product that is capable of performing a certain independent function in a form that is detachable or unremovable, such as an engine assembly, axle assembly, front axle assembly, etc.; consists of parts and components; It may be called components, parts, devices, and all parts. Complex products may also have sub-assemblies.
Module: A unit with relatively independent functions and a common interface. Similar to the assembly, but it may be simpler.
Special parts (basic parts): Parts dedicated to this product. However, in practice, there are often many borrowing relationships. The actual meaning of the special parts is the first time the parts are applied to the product.
Borrowings: The components of existing products are used in this product. These components are called borrowings.
In general, borrowing the source product directly is called borrowing once. If the product is borrowed at the time of the next design, the portion of the product borrowed from the source product is called second borrowing. In the process of secondary borrowing, it is easy to borrow the relationship disorder, and often borrow the source product relationship to the wrong borrowing product.
General-purpose parts: interchangeable parts in different types or different types of products. In fact, it is also a kind of borrowing. After borrowing a piece of borrowed goods for a certain number of times, the company will convert it into a common part through the standardization department to promote the application.
Standard parts: Parts that have been optimized, simplified, unified, and given standard code. Special parts, borrowed parts, general parts, and standard parts can be regarded as a classification attribute of various parts and components that constitute the structure of the enterprise product. The computer should be able to automatically manage the special parts, borrowed parts, common parts, and standard parts according to certain rules.
