How many types of washing machine motors are there?

There are three types of washing machines, and there are many corresponding motors. There are generally three types: brushed motors, DC brushless, permanent magnet synchronous, and low-end induction machines. Like a fully automatic washing machine, a permanent magnet motor (brushless DC, permanent magnet synchronous) is generally used. All use single-phase capacitive motor, which is mainly composed of stator, rotor, main (sub) winding and end cover.

Top-wheel washing machine: use single-phase asynchronous motor, DC brushless motor.

Front-loading washing machine: use single-phase asynchronous two-speed motor (obsolete), series motor, brushless DC motor and three-phase variable frequency motor, etc.

Stirring washing machine: use single-phase asynchronous motor (both capacitor start and capacitor operation), switched reluctance motor, etc.

The advantages of the impeller washing machine:

1. Power saving: The power of the pulsator washing machine is generally about 400 watts, and the power consumption is less than 0.5 kWh. The washing power of the drum washing machine is generally about 1200-2500 watts. In addition, the electric heater needs to increase the water temperature to achieve a better washing effect. If the water temperature is increased to 60 degrees Celsius, the power consumption is about 1.5 degrees.

2. The washing time is short: the general washing time of the pulsator washing machine is 40 minutes, if you customize the program, it will take less time; the general washing time of the drum washing machine is 1-2 hours, although some models now have the quick wash function, But it is only used when there are fewer clothes, and the quick wash function still takes 30 minutes.

3. High cleaning rate: According to the actual test, the cleaning rate of the drum washing machine is about 75%, while that of the pulsator is as high as 95%. The pulsator washing machine only needs room temperature water to wash the clothes clean, while the drum washing machine needs to be heated to wash the clothes clean.

4. Easy to operate: even the elderly can use it easily. If you find clothes left in the washing process, you can add them at any time.

5. Simple and convenient cleaning: Compared with the drum washing machine, the pulsator washing machine has a relatively open space for use, and the structure is relatively simple, which is convenient for disassembly, cleaning and maintenance. Haier Washing Machine launched a no-clean pulsator washing machine in 2014.
