After the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” listed “remanufacturing” as an important part of “Developing Circular Economy”, the ministries and commissions with the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as the main propulsion units successively issued promotion plans and pilot programs. In July 2013, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other ministries jointly issued a document to carry out the pilot work of re-manufacturing products to replace the old ones. After a lapse of one and a half years, a series of specific implementation plans, such as the promotion of enterprises, products and prices, which have been waiting for a long time, have finally surfaced. At about the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Notice on Further Doing Pilot and Demonstration of Remanufacturing of Mechanical and Electrical Products", which means that the re-manufacturing pilot of electromechanical products that has been stagnant for five years has been put on the agenda again.

China's motor remanufacturing market has great potential

1. China's motor ownership is large, China's motor holdings are about 1.7 billion kilowatts. Among them, small and medium-sized asynchronous motors have a total of 1.325 billion kilowatts in 2014.

From the perspective of power consumption, the largest mechanical equipment used in China is pumps, compressors and fans. The motor consumption of these three types of equipment accounts for 74.2% of the total motor consumption. In addition to these three types of equipment, the motor is also widely used. Mixers, conveyors, crushers, etc.

Among them, the total electricity consumption of industrial system motors is 2,872.7 billion kWh, accounting for 71.9% of the total electricity consumption of industrial systems.

3. Low operating efficiency of the motor system The operating efficiency of the motor system in China is generally low and the energy consumption is high, which is 20%~30% lower than the international advanced level. The efficiency of the unit itself is 3-5 percentage points lower than that of the developed countries.

4. Wasteful serious big horse-drawn car phenomenon is serious.
