The invention relates to a fan motor, in particular to a wire protection structure of a fan motor.

Generally, the fan motor supplies power by connecting a wire from one end to the circuit board to an external power supply at the other end. When the wire is led out from the base of the fan motor, the wire is fixed on the base of the fan motor. Especially when the base is made of metal materials, if the contact part of the wire at the edge of the base is sharp, the wire is easy to be scratched. This will lead to the decrease of the insulation of the conductor and even the disconnection of the conductor. For example, as shown in Fig. 1, Japanese patent application disclosure jp2009-050136a discloses a fan motor 1, wherein the metal base 2 has a hole 3 for leading out a wire (not shown). However, the edge of hole 2 is sharp, which is easy to scratch the wire and even lead to wire breakage.
Therefore, there is an urgent need for a fan motor with a structure that can protect the wires.
