Analysis of rolling force sensor calibration and precautions

Rolling force sensors are mainly used in the steel metallurgy industry. The process of rolling steel in a steel plant is that the rolling mill continuously applies pressure to the steel sheet through the roller, and then the steel is rolled into a steel plate that meets the process requirements. In order to ensure that the force values applied to the two ends of the roller are the same, to meet the rolling force of the real-time display rolling mill and to accurately and effectively control the rolling mill, a rolling force sensor is usually installed at both ends of the roller bearing housing to measure the force at both ends of the rolling mill roller. .

The rolling force sensor is generally installed under the lower roller bearing housing of the rolling mill. Since the rolling force of the rolling mill is relatively large, it is from 7.5MN to 60MN, and the used one is generally about 20MN, and the working environment is relatively bad. To a certain extent, it affects the service life and measurement accuracy of the rolling force sensor, and the different degrees of overload, so that the rolling force sensor needs to be removed and repaired after being used for a certain period of time and can be reused.

1 Rolling force sensor main measurement performance requirements

The measurement performance of the rolling force sensor is usually referred to the measurement technical index of the first-order force sensor, the repeatability is: 1.0% FS; the straightness is: ±1.0% FS; the hysteresis is: ±1.0% FS. In the actual calibration process, it is found that the repetitiveness of the rolling force sensor with better repair status is generally within 0.10% FS, and both straightness and hysteresis can reach 0.60% FS. More cases are small straightness lag. Large or straight line with large lag.
