The excitation mode of dc motor refers to the problem of how to supply power to the field winding and generate the field flux potential to establish the main field. According to different excitation modes, dc motors can be divided into the following types.

Other wound

The excitation winding has no connection with the armature winding, while the dc motor powered by other dc power sources which is called separately excited dc motor.  Permanent magnet dc motor can also be regarded as separately excited dc motor.

Shunt

The excitation winding of the shunt dc motor is parallel to the armature winding. As a shunt generator, it is the end voltage of the motor that supplies the field winding. As a shunt motor, the excitation winding and armature share the same power supply, and the performance of the shunt dc motor is the same.

Q:How long is the delivery for your industrial part?

A: Generally speaking, it will take us 15 working days for machining parts and 25 working days for stamping parts products. But we will shorten our lead time as soon as possible according to customers' demands.

Q:What kind motors you can provide?

A:For now, we mainly provide permanent magnet brushed dc motors (including vibration motors, low voltage dc motors and high voltage dc motors),AC universal motors, reduction gear motors and other types of motors.

Q:Are you motors reversible?

A:For all the low voltage dc motors, they are reversible (when you exchange the electrical poles, they can run in another direction). For the high voltage dc motors, if clients only need to run the motor in one direction, we'll shift the brushes by some small angle in reference to the permanent magnet (brush offset). That can favor the required one direction of rotation, but the other direction has higher sparkling and worse performance. The stall torque for the favor rotation will be less, but the max. Efficiency point will be higher.
