worm gear motor features and application range
The worm gear motor can obtain a large transmission ratio by using a worm gear, and is in line contact with the compact two-wheel meshing tooth surface of the crossed-axis helical gear mechanism, and its bearing capacity is much higher than that of the crossed-axis helical gear mechanism, and the worm drive is equivalent to a screw transmission. For multi-tooth meshing transmission, the transmission is stable, the noise is small, and it has self-locking. When the lead angle of the worm is smaller than the equivalent friction angle between the meshing teeth, the mechanism has self-locking property, and the reverse self-locking can be realized, that is, the worm wheel can only be driven by the worm, and the worm can not be driven by the worm wheel. For example, in the self-locking worm mechanism used in the hoisting machinery, the reverse self-locking property can serve as a safety protection. The transmission efficiency is low and the wear is serious. When the worm gear is meshed and transmitted, the relative sliding speed between the meshing teeth is large, so the friction loss is large and the efficiency is low. On the other hand, the relative sliding speed is large, causing severe wear on the tooth surface and serious heat generation. In order to dissipate heat and reduce wear, materials with better anti-friction and anti-wear properties and good lubrication devices are often used, so the cost is high. The worm has a large axial force.
The worm gear motor is a transmission machine with a compact structure, a large transmission ratio and a self-locking function under certain conditions. Moreover, it is easy to install and reasonable in structure, and has been widely used in industries such as mining, lifting, transportation, metallurgy, chemical, dry powder press, elevator, ship, locomotive, construction, textile and other industries.
Micro-worm geared motors are widely used in smart homes, medical equipment, automotive transmissions, robots, automatic equipment, industrial
Automation, instrumentation, electronics, personal care products and other fields.
