However, this type of market has caused many problems for the public enterprises. The problems of low-price competition in the market and chaos in the supply chain are very obvious. With the sharp reduction of subsidies, motor electronic control companies must bear the pressure of price cuts from the OEMs. On the other hand, raw materials are rising, core components need to rely on imports, etc., which threaten the healthy development of enterprises.

Previously, high-tech electric vehicles visited a number of motor, electronic control, and powertrain companies. The company generally responded that the supply chain market for pure electric logistics vehicles was very chaotic, and low-cost competition sometimes occurred.

In the past two years, large and small commercial vehicle companies have entered the field. Most of the models have been modified from traditional fuel truck chassis, and many commercial vehicle companies in the market have purchased the chassis of other companies for assembly. In addition, there is a supply chain cooperation method in which the customer develops a brand of battery or motor electronic control and other core components for deep binding.

All of the above leads to low loyalty in the supply chain cooperation in the field of pure electric logistics vehicles. The main engine factory often has more than two core component suppliers for each model. Or for different customers, sold to different regions, the core components are different.

In terms of price, in view of the fact that the pure electric logistics vehicle market is still in a very chaotic stage, the product quality is uneven, and the price system of the motor electronic control is also very chaotic. In addition, the pure electric logistics vehicle is mainly oriented to the urban distribution freight market, and the cost is very intense. . Many OEMs require components to meet the basic performance requirements of the vehicle. The lower the price, the better.

It can be said that the increasingly harsh market environment has brought great pressure to the core three power companies. Beginning in 2018, domestic motor electric control companies must face several major crises:

❶ survival crisis

In 2017, the profitability of the core three electric power companies, especially the electric motor control companies, was worrying. The motor electric control enterprises were not the direct beneficiaries of the subsidies for new energy vehicles, but they also felt the big shock caused by the subsidy decline. Last year, most automakers have asked motor companies to cut prices by 20%-30%, and many companies' net profit declined last year.

This situation may be even more severe in 2018, and the survival crisis of many motor companies will be "red light."

Many industry insiders believe that the reshuffle of the motor electronic control market will accelerate, and market stratification will be apparent. Coupled with the decline in subsidies and the extension of the payment cycle, many companies are worried about the situation of funds, and it is not excluded that some enterprises will be eliminated.

❷ upgrade

It is already obvious in 2018 that after the precipitation in 2016 and 2017, China's pure electric bus market has been clearly stratified, and several major car companies have emerged.

The future prospect of the pure electric logistics vehicle market is already an industry consensus. In the early days, the brand models of the market were mixed, and the situation of shoddy work has changed a lot.

After two years of terminal operation verification, the end users of new energy buses and logistics vehicles have already had the ability to select high-quality products, and the technical requirements of the state for new energy buses, logistics vehicles and other models are also increasing.

In this case, the OEM's screening of core component suppliers will also be upgraded, and it is not omnipotent to please customers at low prices;

On the contrary, the choice of parts suppliers to the OEM customers has become more and more prudent, and the selection of quality customers is the guarantee for the benign development of core parts companies.

It can be said that the urgent task of the core component companies at this stage is how to break through and upgrade.

❸ technology

At present, the integration of components in the field of electric vehicle power systems is an inevitable trend of development. Through integrated design, energy consumption is reduced, efficiency is improved, etc. On the other hand, miniaturization, light weight, and cost reduction can be realized.

At present, many foreign companies have been able to realize the integrated power system solution of "two in one (motor + reducer)" and "three in one" (motor + reducer + motor controller).

In the past two years, some domestic motor electronic control and powertrain companies have also transformed into "motor + electric control + reducer" powertrain system integrators, but the real integrated integrated products are mostly in research and development, testing stage. Including BYD, Changan Automobile, Dayang Electric, Jingjin Electric and other enterprises have developed a three-in-one electric drive assembly solution, etc., and gradually applied in batches. It can be seen that some enterprises have taken the lead in gaining an advantage.

Some people expect that in the last two or three years, the core three-electricity supply chain market will be more and more concentrated, market orders will be tilted toward a few large enterprises, the scale benefits will be quickly highlighted, and the cost will also drop rapidly. By eliminating small enterprises, the overall technical level of the industry will also increase rapidly. This trend has already begun to emerge in China's power battery industry.
