DC motor is a motor that converts DC electrical energy into mechanical energy. Because of its good speed regulation performance, it is widely used in electric towing. DC motors are divided into three categories: permanent magnet, other excitation, and self-excitation according to the excitation mode. Self-excitation is divided into three types: parallel excitation, series excitation, and compound excitation.
The basic structure of DC motor is divided into two parts: stator and rotor. Remember that the stator and rotor are composed of those parts. Note: Do not confuse the commutator pole and the commutator. Remember the role of the two.
The stator includes: main magnetic pole, machine base, commutation pole, brush device, etc.
The rotor includes: armature core, armature winding, commutator, shaft and fan.
In short, a DC motor is a motor that converts DC energy into mechanical energy. The excitation method of the DC motor refers to the problem of how to supply power to the excitation winding and generate the excitation magnetomotive force to establish the main magnetic field.
