Due to different volume specifications, it also causes certain trouble in interchangeability. This is mainly reflected in the different axle lengths of the mounting dimensions and load ends, resulting in the reprocessing of the motor base and coupling joints. Therefore, when choosing an electric motor, one is to consider economy, and the other is to consider practicality and necessity.
According to our years of experience in using Japanese, German and other products, imported products are superior to domestic products in terms of manufacturing process and performance, especially large high voltage DC motors. We did some research when we ordered a 2000 kW winding asynchronous motor. Several manufacturers in China can produce winding asynchronous motors with a capacity of more than 2,000 kW, but the performance is not much. Finally, we decided to purchase the original imported national products. We use a 4200kW winding asynchronous motor made in Germany. The supplier promises to use it for 20 to 50 years. All domestic motor manufacturers have a shelf life of only one year when ordering contracts. There is no description of the design life in the technical specifications. Once a large high-voltage motor is damaged, the repair period is long, the cost is also very high, and it is still to be discontinued and repaired. The loss is very large. We believe that large high voltage motors used in key processes should be imported to ensure long-term reliability and can be used without ordering spare parts. For the short repair period, the small capacity of high voltage motors can be purchased domestic products and a small amount of spare parts can be stored.
