Most of the power components such as IGBTs still have to be imported from abroad, and the core control chip and single-chip microcomputer are basically They must be imported from abroad, and these gaps are mainly due to the gap between chip design, packaging and software ecosystem.
Yu Lingfei seems that the biggest gap is the gap in the entire industry's research and development awareness. Large foreign companies are developing the next generation products three to five years ahead of schedule. They are highly forward-looking and use a generation and pre-research generation. The domestic basis in this respect is relatively insufficient, and the more advanced product pre-research investment is even more It is weak.
IFL Series: A milestone in the development of Invitro
Just because of the gap, in the face of the upcoming indiscriminate competition in 2020, Yu Lingfei has a more urgency. Therefore, INVT's research and development of passenger car electronic control products has been promoted in terms of personnel, solutions and systems by 2020 standards, and finally launched the IFL series of new energy passenger car motor controllers that are milestone for INVT.
According to reports, this series will be the passenger car controller platform product built by Invitro, using Infineon TriCore microcontroller and SBC intelligent power management chip, with advanced topology and functional safety design, complete UDS diagnostic service, to achieve The international advanced level of similar products; its controller has a maximum efficiency of 98.5%, and the efficiency in the 75% working range is higher than 93%. The overall system efficiency will be 1% higher than the industry.
At present, INVT's IFL series products include single-chip microcomputer and motor, electric control and reducer three-in-one powertrain solutions, and have entered many domestic automakers, such as Zotye, Hangteng, Geely, Baowo Auto, Aichi Yiwei, etc. New models equipped with IFL series products will be mass-produced from the second half of the year to 2020.
Yu Lingfei told the electric vehicle resource network reporter that the IFL series of electronic control products is equally significant for the domestic electronic control field, because it will be the first product in China to be mass-produced with TriCore and AutoSAR architecture.
In addition to the development of the powertrain system, INVT is also strengthening the technical accumulation of some core components. The silicon carbide project jointly promoted by the company and a large domestic car manufacturer will complete the prototype power verification this year and will be verified on the next year. Silicon carbide has long been recognized by the industry as an alternative to IGBTs.
Prepare for the arrival of giants with high standard products in 2020
For the planning of the electronic control products of INVT new energy passenger cars, Yu Lingfei said that this year, its single products will be mass-produced. In 2019 and 2020, the three-in-one products of the A-class powertrain will be mass-produced; in addition, 2019 In the year, INVT will start the development of the three-in-one powertrain product of the A0 class. After 2020, it will be involved in the development of electric power steering (EPS) products, and its product safety level will reach ASIL-D.

Yu Lingfei said that by 2020, when subsidies are completely withdrawn, domestic manufacturers will have to meet with foreign giants.
