Among the output distribution of new energy vehicles in May, only a few models are equipped with two or more drive motors. Among them, in the passenger vehicle field, the output of this part of the model is nearly 3,000, and the installed capacity of the drive motor is nearly 6,000.

In the commercial vehicle sector (including new energy buses and new energy special vehicles), the number of models equipped with two or more drive motors is more than 1,200, and the total installed capacity of drive motors is more than 2,400.

In terms of drive motor manufacturers, Top10 manufacturers sold a total of 53,647 units of motor drives in May, accounting for nearly 60% of total shipments, with high capacity concentration.

BYD, Beiqi New Energy, Yutong Bus, etc., due to the large sales volume of their own new energy vehicle products, the drive motor installed capacity is leading. The manufacturers of new energy vehicle drive motors, such as United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., Jingjin Electric Technology Co., Ltd. and Huayu Automotive Electric System Co., Ltd., have also obtained orders from new energy vehicle manufacturers based on their product technology advantages.

From the supporting situation of the drive motor manufacturer and the passenger car main engine factory, the joint supporting auto electronics is mainly supplied to SAIC and Shaanxi Tongjia; the fine electric power is mainly supplied to Geely and Changan Automobile; the Huayu Automobile is mainly supplied to SAIC Roewe and SAIC Chase. Datong models; Deyang Electronics is mainly supplied to Zhidou Electric; Juyi Power is mainly supplied to Jianghuai, Chery and Yundu; Jieneng Power is mainly supplied to Zhongtai Automobile.

Based on the analysis of China's driving motor installed capacity in May, thanks to the advantages of China's rare earth resources, the mainstream of the motor is a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Since this month is the last full month of the transition period of the subsidy policy, the output of new energy buses in May is close to the sum of the previous four months, so that the load of the drive motor has not been greatly affected by the small drop in the output of new energy passenger vehicles this month. The amount is almost the same as in April. As the transition period ended on June 11, the driving load of the drive motor is expected to remain stable under the dual factors of the implementation of the New Deal and the bidding of the car companies. As for motor manufacturers, the representative car companies that entered the new energy vehicle field earlier, such as BYD, Beiqi New Energy, Yutong Bus, etc., have already entered the field of drive motors, and because of the large sales volume of their own new energy vehicles, the drive motor is installed. Leading the way.

However, as more traditional car companies and new Internet-powered vehicles enter the new energy vehicle market, paying attention to the cost-effectiveness of the entire vehicle, manufacturers specializing in new-energy vehicle-driven motors will have more market opportunities.
