Cheap Electric Printer Motor

Cheap electric printer motors. The process of making a printer is iterative and never-ending.

While cost, quality and performance are top priorities for manufacturers, the development of electric motors has not received such attention for more than 100 years.  Engineers at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry are developing what they claim could be the world's first

3D printed motors, the team developed a way to produce motors with major components made using additive manufacturing.  This 3D-printed motor features an increase in motor power despite a reduction in the size and mass of key components, a reduction in the number of parts that simplifies the supply chain, improves manufacturing efficiency, reduces operating costs, and reduces assembly and inspection time and costs.
