What should you watch out for in a turbocharged engine?

The basic principle of turbocharging is actually equivalent to adding an air compressor to the intake of the engine to increase the intake air volume of the engine. What drives this compressor is the exhaust gas emitted by the engine itself. The exhaust gas blows the blades of the exhaust turbine to push the blades of the exhaust turbine, thereby driving the intake blades, allowing the compressor to "blow" the air toward the cylinders of the engine, increasing the intake pressure, speeding up the intake speed, and injecting the air quickly. The oil is naturally more, and the power and torque are even greater. In order to avoid damage to the turbocharger and extend the service life of the supercharger, the following points should be noted in use:

1, the correct choice, the rational use of engine oil

Generally, turbocharged engines have some special requirements for oil, such as oil viscosity, grade, coking performance, cleanliness, etc. If oil is used that does not meet the requirements, it will cause abnormal wear or severe coking of the turbine. Damage to the supercharger.

2, the correct choice and use of air filter

Turbocharged engines must use a quality-assured air filter that is regularly replaced and serviced. For areas with poor air quality, it is recommended to shorten the air filter replacement cycle as appropriate. Always check the intake hose for damage and loose the hose clamp. Let the intake pipe "fixed into the air, tight airtight", all kinds of dust, impurities, particles, etc. are blocked outside the air inlet, allowing the engine to breathe the purest air.
