What is the reason for the fan motor beeping but the fan blades not turning?

In summer, air conditioners and electric fans are inseparable. Otherwise, you will sweat profusely every minute, and the house will be like a steamer, which is very burning. The electric fan can be used when it is plugged in, and different wind power can be set. The traditional fan has blades and a motor. If this kind of fan is used for a long time, it is prone to the situation that the motor makes noise and the blades do not rotate. Then the reason is that What's going on?

1. What is the reason for the sound of the electric fan motor and the fan blades not turning?

1. Bearing lack of oil

If the bearing of the electric fan is starved of oil, it will not spin. When the electric fan is continuously energized, it will hum due to a blocked bearing.

Maintenance method: Turn the fan blade by hand. If the resistance is large, it means that the fan bearing is seriously lacking in lubricating oil. Add sewing oil to the root of the fan motor bearing.

2. The starting capacitor is damaged

If the starting capacitor of the electric fan is broken, the fan will not be able to rotate naturally, and will make a humming sound under the action of the current.

Inspection method: Flick the fan blade with your hand, and the fan blade rotates smoothly, indicating that the fan starting capacitor is damaged.

Maintenance method: Replace the CBB61 capacitor with the required withstand voltage and capacity.

3. Motor short circuit

When the electric fan motor is short-circuited, the electric fan motor does not move, naturally the electric fan does not rotate, and there will be a humming sound.

Inspection method: Flick the fan blade with your hand, the fan can start to run, but it stops rotating soon, indicating that the primary coil of the fan motor is short-circuited.

Repair method: There is no need to repair such faults, it is better to buy a new electric fan.

2. What is the reason for the loud noise of the electric fan motor?

1. The oil volume of the machine head is too small and the lubrication is not enough. This can reduce noise by adding some oil to the bearings on the motor.

2. The swinging part of the fan head is loose, causing the fan to shake when it is running. This should be strengthened to improve the situation.

3. Motor failure. The fan page does not turn, and sometimes you may hear a "humming" sound of the motor, and may also be accompanied by a burnt smell. In this case, turn off the power immediately. Discard the electric fan.

3. How to add lubricating oil to electric fan bearings

1. Prepare the following tools: medium plum screwdriver, small flat screwdriver, small brush

2. Unplug the power plug of the fan first, do not work with electricity!

3. Disassemble the fan casing or fan cover, remove the fan blades, and remove the screws that fix the motor on the plastic seat.

4. Use a toothpick dipped in lubricating oil to drip oil into the bearing part, and rotate the fan shaft by hand while dripping oil, so that the lubricating oil can fully enter the inner layer until the oil is full, and the effect of injecting with a thin needle tube is better if conditions permit. it is good. Conditional, the first choice for lubricating oil is silicone oil, which is colorless, odorless, non-volatile, has good temperature resistance, and has a good lubricating effect.

5. Power on and test whether it can rotate, and then install the motor, fan blade and other components one by one after success.
