What is a series motor, what is the specific principle?

A series-excited (serial-excited) motor is a series of stator windings and rotor windings.

Working principle: The principle of generating rotational torque when AC power is supplied can still be explained by the operating principle of DC motor. When a current is passed through the conductor, a magnetic field is generated around the conductor, the direction of which is dependent on the direction of the current.

The energized conductor is placed in a magnetic field, and the magnetic field interacts with the magnetic field generated by the energized conductor, which causes the conductor to be subjected to a force F, and thus a motion, and the conductor moves in a direction in which the magnetic field lines are thin from the magnetic field line. When a coil composed of two mutually opposite conductors is placed in a magnetic field, the two sides of the coil are also subjected to a force, and the directions of the two forces are opposite, generating a moment.

When the coil rotates in the magnetic field, when the corresponding two coil sides are turned from one pole to the other, when the polarity of the magnetic field changes, the direction of the force applied to the conductor changes. The direction of the torque changes so that the coil rotates in the opposite direction, so that the coil can only swing back and forth around the central axis.

Can the speed control motor start frequently?

The speed-regulating motor can be started frequently. The motors used for debugging by our company are all speed-regulating motors. It is often started frequently and there is no problem. However, it is best to minimize frequent starts. No matter how many times the motor starts frequently, it will damage the motor.
