What are the differences between the two poles, four poles and multipoles of the motor?
The difference between the two poles and the four poles of the motor
The number of poles of the motor is an important key parameter in response to the speed of the motor.
The core components of the motor are the stator and the rotor. The stator is embedded with coils. When the coil is energized, it will generate N and S pole magnetic fields. One N or one S is the number of poles generated by the motor; from an N pole and an S pole Formed a pole logarithm. Then the pole motor has a pole pair number of 1, and the quadrupole motor has a pole pair number of 2. So how do we know the speed of the motor?
The motor has a synchronous speed, and its synchronous speed is the alternating speed of the magnetic field - the alternating current frequency of the motor multiplied by the time (seconds) divided by the pole pair.
The synchronous speed of the two-pole motor is 50HZ*60S/1=3000 rev/min. The synchronous speed of the four-pole motor is 50HZ*60S/2=1500 rev/min. The motor speed can be calculated all the way down. They are all even, and there are no odd numbers.
We know that asynchronous motor generates electromagnetic force by cutting magnetic lines to drive the motor to rotate. Then there is a difference between the magnetic field of the motor and the speed of the rotor is lower than the synchronous speed of the motor. This speed difference is called the slip of the motor. Rate, slip rate is generally 3-5% of the synchronous speed of the motor.
Knowing the synchronous speed of the motor, we multiply the motor slip by the motor speed.
The asynchronous motor is inductive, and the actual speed of the rotor lags behind the synchronous speed.
Ideal speed = frequency * 60 / pole logarithm, actual speed = ideal speed * (1 - slip)
For example, the AC frequency is 50Hz and the pole logarithm is 2 slips of 0.04 (.096).
The synchronous speed of the 2-pole motor is 3000r/min, and the asynchronous speed is 2850r/min.
The synchronous speed of the 4-pole motor is 1500r/min, and the asynchronous speed is 1450r/min.
The synchronous speed of the 6-pole motor is 1000r/min, and the asynchronous speed is 960r/min.
The 8-pole motor has a synchronous speed of 750r/min and an asynchronous speed of 720r/min.
