The quality and longevity of the drive are certainly important factors in selecting a drive. Then, the stepper motor has to work, and the voltage and current of the driver have to be determined. How should the voltage and current of the stepper motor driver be determined? How to use a stepper motor driver? The first thing to solve before a series of problems is to first figure out the speed, torque and voltage and current of the stepper motor, so that we can make a judgment for future problems.

1. When the stepping motor is in certain time, the voltage value supplied to the driver has a great influence on the performance of the motor. The higher the voltage, the larger the torque that the stepping motor can generate, which is more conducive to the occasion requiring high-speed application, but the heat of the motor increases with voltage. The increase in current increases, so be careful that the temperature of the motor does not exceed the maximum limit.

Second, an empirical value for reference: the input voltage of the stepper motor driver is generally set at 3 to 25 times the rated voltage of the stepper motor. Recommendation: 57 base motor adopts DC 24V-48V, 86 base motor adopts DC 36-70V, and 110 base motor adopts higher than DC 80V.
