What is a hair dryer?
Hair dryer is a kind of household appliance, mainly used for hair drying and shaping, some are also used in laboratory, physiotherapy room and industrial production, art and other aspects for local drying, heating and physiotherapy. Hair dryer is composed of shell, motor and wind blade, electric heating element, wind shield, switch, it is directly driven by the motor rotor to drive the wind blade rotation, blow out hot and cold air, to achieve the purpose of drying and shaping. It is a commonly used small household appliances in the family.
Hair dryer construction
The hair dryer is mainly composed of the following parts
① The shell. It plays a protective role on the internal parts and is also the external decorative parts.
② Motor and blades. The motor is mounted in the housing, and the wind vane is mounted on the shaft end of the motor. When the motor rotates, it draws air through the air intake and blows air out through the air outlet.
③ Electric heating element. The electric heating element of the hair dryer is wound with electric heating wire and installed at the air outlet of the hair dryer. The air discharged from the motor is heated by the electric heating wire at the air outlet and is sent out as hot air.
Some hairdryers are equipped with a thermostat near the electric heating element. When the temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature, the circuit is cut off, which plays a protective role.
④ Windscreen. Some hairdryers have a circular windscreen at the inlet to adjust the inlet air volume. Hair dryers without circular windshields can be used to cover part of the air intake with a piece of paper to also adjust the air intake volume. A small intake of air, blowing out of the wind is relatively hot, a large intake of air, blowing out of the wind is not too hot. It should be noted that the tuyere should not be blocked too much, otherwise it will damage the motor or burn out the heating element because of the high temperature.
⑤ Switch. Hair dryer switch generally has "hot air", "cold air", "stop" three positions, commonly used white means "stop", red means "hot air", blue means "cold air".
The electric heating element of some hair dryers consists of two or three sections of electric heating wire, which is used to adjust the temperature and controlled by a selector switch.
