Talking about the cooling and ventilation technology of low voltage AC motor
As we all know, the operation process of a motor is actually a process in which electrical energy and mechanical energy are converted to each other, and in the process, inevitably, some loss will be generated. Most of these losses are converted into heat, which causes the operating temperature of the motor windings, cores and other components to rise.
Since the insulation material used in the motor has a temperature limit, the task of cooling the motor is to dissipate the heat generated by the internal loss of the motor, so that the temperature rise of each part of the motor is maintained within the range specified by the standard, and the internal temperature is uniformized. .
The motor usually uses gas or liquid as the cooling medium. Commonly, there is air and water, which is called air cooling or water cooling. Air-cooled common is fully enclosed air cooling and open air cooling; water cooling is common with water jacket cooling and heat exchanger cooling.
The AC motor standard IEC 60034-6 specifies and explains the cooling method of the motor, which is represented by the IC code:
Cooling mode code = IC + circuit layout code + cooling medium code + push method code
Common cooling methods
1, IC01 natural cooling (surface cooling)
For example, the Siemens compact 1FK7/1FT7 servo motor. Note: This type of motor has a high surface temperature during operation and may have an impact on peripheral equipment and materials. Therefore, in some industries, it should be considered to avoid the negative effects of motor temperature through the installation of the motor and moderate derating.
2, IC411 self-fan cooling (self-cooling)
The IC 411 is cooled by moving the air by the rotation of the motor itself, and the moving speed of the air is related to the speed of the motor.
3. IC416 forced fan cooling (strong cooling or independent fan cooling)
The IC416 contains an independently driven fan that ensures a constant airflow regardless of the speed of the motor.
IC411 and IC416 are the cooling methods often used in low-voltage AC asynchronous motors, which are realized by the fan-blow motor surface heat dissipation ribs.
Motor cooling fan type
Axial flow (propeller type)
The design of the fan is based on the principle of minimizing the maximum cooling effect. The streamlined surface design is used to maximize the ventilation efficiency of the fan and reduce the ventilation noise.

The company focuses on the production of electric door lock motor and electric-driver motor.
