The structure of the automatic valve automatic brake valve is set to operate the brake and relief of the whole train, through the operation of its handle to complete the various functions or performance checks of the brake motor.
The automatic braking valve is an automatic pressure protection type, with six active positions: overcharge position, running position, braking area (minimum pressure reduction position ~ maximum pressure reduction position), excessive pressure reduction position, handle removal position and emergency braking position. The automatic brake valve consists of seven parts: valve body and pipe seat, handle and cam, adjustment valve, vent valve, reconnecting piston valve, relief piston valve, and passenger truck conversion valve.
① valve body and seat: Main body connecting each component, with four levers and cam boxes connected in the front, the back connecting the adjustment bonnet and the front cover, and a separate brake valve installed above the side.
② handle and cam: Handle and cam are the automatic brake valve control mechanism. Camm is equipped with four cams, from top to down for the adjustment valve cam, vent valve cam, reconnecting piston valve cam, relief piston valve cam. The six acting positions of the automatic brake valve are operated by the handle rotating the camshaft. The rotation of the camshaft causes the adjustment valves, vent valves, recoupling, and relief piston valves to move left or right to switch on or disconnect the access of each tube, creating the various required effects.
③ adjustment valve: the adjustment valve is the control mechanism of the train brake or relief, which controls the pressure change of the locomotive equilibrium air cylinder, and then controls the inflation and exhaust of the train pipe through the relay valve, so as to realize the braking and relief of the locomotive and the train. Inflatability state: adjust the valve cam to get a lift, adjust the valve plunger left, supply valve open.
④ vent valve: the vent valve is set for the train to quickly discharge the pressure air in the train pipe to the atmosphere. Only when the automatic brake valve handle is placed in the emergency brake position, the vent valve cam can get a fixed lift, push the vent valve, and make the vent valve mouth open. Pressure air outlet valve atmosphere of the train pipe.
⑤ reconnection piston valve: when the locomotive reconnects or change the operation, cut off the connection between the balance air cylinder and the relay valve, the relay valve self-lock, so that the automatic brake valve can not control the whole train, and let the total wind pass the sand pipe, so that the locomotive automatically sprinkle sand.
⑥ relief piston valve: the piston valve makes overcharge and air fill valve, relieve plunger valve piston position is different, can produce the following effect: make the total duct 3 connected through the filling pipe 7, can make the train pipe pressure above the specified value of 30-40kpa, or make the overcharge pipe 7 connected to the atmosphere, no overcharge effect; make the passage from the passenger and truck conversion valve 8a through the atmosphere or the total duct 3.
⑦ passenger, truck conversion valve: passenger, truck conversion valve is relief control conversion valve, has two positions: truck: the conversion valve knob in this position, two plunger valve in the lower position, the channel 8a and the total wind block valve pipe connected, make the total wind block valve accept the control of the plunger valve, can manipulate a relief type motor.
