Panasonic AC servo motor driver is used in position control

In the position control mode, the servo driver receives the position command signal  pulse/direction sent by the numerical control host, and sends it to the pulse train form. After the electronic gear is multiplied, the deviation signal is formed in the deviation reversible counter and the feedback pulse signal. The feedback pulse is generated by the photoelectric encoder detecting the actual number of pulses generated by the motor after four times of frequency. The position deviation signal is adjusted by the composite feedforward controller of the position loop to form a speed command signal.

The speed command signal and the speed feedback signal are the same as the position detecting device. The compared deviation signal is adjusted by the speed loop proportional integral controller to generate a current command signal. After vector transformation in the current loop, the torque current is controlled by the SPWM. AC servo motor operation. The position control accuracy is controlled by the number of pulses generated per revolution of the photoelectric encoder. It is divided into incremental photoelectric encoder and absolute photoelectric encoder. The incremental encoder is simple in structure, easy to grasp, has a long average life, high resolution, and has many practical applications. This system uses an incremental photoelectric encoder. Absolute photoelectric encoders are output in binary code, and there are many signal lines. Since the accuracy depends on the number of bits, high resolution is not easy to obtain. However, this encoder can output absolute angle information even when it is not moving, and is mainly used in full-closed high-end CNC machine tools.

In some transmission fields, high-accuracy position control is required for the controlled object, and a basic condition for precise position control is the need for a high-precision actuator. When the pulse equivalent and the feed rate are both too high, the conventional stepping motor or DC servo motor will face a series of problems, and it is difficult to implement and costly. In recent years, the AC servo motor drive technology has been able to obtain extremely high position control accuracy at a low cost. Many well-known motor manufacturers in the world such as Panasonic, Sanyo, Siemens and other companies have launched their own AC servo motors and servos. driver. Japan's Matsushita's MINASA series is a typical one. In conjunction with the author's experience with the servo motor driver, the servo motor driver will be briefly introduced.
