Optoelectronics is making progress in synchronous motor control of dual motors

The photoelectric tracking and measurement research team of the First Research Laboratory of the Institute of Optoelectronic Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences made a breakthrough in the research of synchronous drive control of dual motors. A current follow-up synchronization control strategy based on acceleration feedback was proposed, which realized the synchronous control of the photoelectric theodolite dual motors. .

In the photoelectric theodolite, the single-motor direct drive control method is generally adopted. The traditional single-motor drive has the following limitations: on the one hand, the single motor is limited by the output torque. On the other hand, when a single motor drives a large symmetrical load, the driving force at both ends is inconsistent and cannot meet the application of high power. In addition, single motor drive is likely to cause drastic changes in temperature, which deforms the rigid pillar and affects the measurement accuracy of the tracking device. Therefore, the use of multiple motors can not only reduce the mechanical structure volume, reduce the requirements on the motor, but also reduce the temperature variation at both ends of the support and improve the measurement accuracy.

At present, the technology has been successfully applied to large-scale optical measurement equipment in China, which expands the control bandwidth and the low-speed stability of the tracking control system, and improves the tracking control performance.
