Operation reliability test of interlocking device between motor and fan

Operation reliability test of interlocking device between motor and fan

The positive pressure motor should be ventilated and cleaned before working. The working system of the ventilator must ensure that the motor can not be connected to the power supply before the motor and the air duct are ventilated. Only when the air in the motor and the air duct is quantified (at least 5 times the volume of the motor and the duct cavity), the air flows. The motor can be switched on and put into operation. When the motor is stopped, the fan can stop the ventilation only when the surface temperature of the internal parts of the motor is lower than the allowable temperature of the explosive gas. This test is a test that guarantees the accuracy and reliability of the above control system to ensure that it is qualified.

●Wind pressure protection device operation reliability test

The positive pressure motor must maintain the wind pressure specified by the product during normal operation. When artificially reducing the wind pressure at the air outlet to 100 Pa or the minimum wind pressure specified by the product, the wind pressure protection device shall operate.

This is to be tested a total of 5 times. If the pressure relay cannot be installed at the air outlet, in order to check and supervise the wind pressure at the air outlet, it is often necessary to increase the action value of the pressure relay to ensure the wind pressure of the motor outlet. This test shall be repeated at the installation site except when the motor is to be delivered at the factory.

●Test for measuring the temperature rise of the motor casing and the cooling time of the internal heating element after power failure

The surface of the positive pressure motor housing and the internal heating element are to be measured at the rated load of the motor. The wind pressure and the air volume at the time of measurement were carried out under the minimum flow rate and pressure. It is also necessary to measure the maximum temperature of the motor housing when the air is stopped. It is necessary to use a stopwatch to heat the parts inside the casing to measure the time required to cool the surface temperature from the power supply to the limit temperature (ie, the maximum surface temperature allowed by the equipment). This time is the shortest time to continue ventilation after the power is cut off at the end of the motor operation.
