Modeling and Simulation of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Direct Torque Control

Modeling and Simulation of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Direct Torque Control

With the rapid development of power electronics technology, microcomputer technology, rare earth permanent magnet materials and control theory, PMSM has become more and more widely used due to its small size, light weight, high efficiency, small moment of inertia and high reliability. The DTC strategy is applied to PMSM control to improve the fast torque response of the motor, which has become a topic of concern to researchers.

In the 1980s, the theory of direct torque control was first proposed by German scholar M. Depenbrock and Japanese scholar I. Takahashi for asynchronous motors. In the 1990s, the theory of PMSMDTC was proposed by Zhong.L, RahmanMF, Hu.YW and other scholars [6]. The basic idea is to give the error between the given speed and the actual speed of the motor. The output of the PI regulator is used as the given signal of the torque. At the same time, the system uses the flux linkage model and the torque model according to the detected three-phase current and voltage values of the motor. Calculate the flux linkage and torque of the motor, calculate the position of the rotor of the motor, the error between the given flux linkage and the torque flux linkage of the motor and the actual value; finally select the switching voltage vector of the inverter according to their state, so that the motor can The output torque is adjusted according to the control requirements, and finally the purpose of speed regulation is achieved. Since the calculation of motor speed and flux linkage has great influence on the performance of the control system, simulation research is the most effective tool and means for obtaining satisfactory torque calculation.
