The method of determining the geometric center line is: the winding end is connected to the symmetrical motor of the commutator, and the brush position responds to the quasi-magnetic center line; The asymmetric motor at the winding end depends on the degree of asymmetry. The general principle is that the two edges of the winding element short-circuited by the brush should be located in the geometric center line or very close to the geometric center line.
Both theory and production practice have proved that the position adjustment of the electric brush has a great influence on the empty current and performance of the motor, and it should be paid enough attention.
2, pay attention to the quality of the commutator:
The quality of the commutator shall include both material and machining quality.
The material of the commutator is copper alloy, such as cadmium copper, silver copper, etc.. The material is different. Its hardness, wear resistance, and the contact resistance and conductivity of the brush will be different. Of course, price factors must be considered.
From the aspect of machining quality, the dimension, form tolerance and surface roughness of the commutator should be tested. The distribution of the commutators should be uniform, the insulation between the commutators should be engraved, the surface of the planar commutator is better, and the surface roughness in contact with the brush should not be less than 0.80. Allow grinding of the surface of the commutator with glass sandpaper(not with gold steel sandpaper). When installing a planar commutator, pay attention to its vertical degree with the axis of the motor.
