Mainly from the material selection and insulation process to consider. For wet tropical motor insulation materials, in addition to the basic requirements of heat resistance grade, working voltage, mechanical stress and insulation structure, the following points must be noted:
(1) Material selection
As far as possible, inorganic insulating materials such as glass fiber, asbestos, stone and mica; organic insulating materials and treated mildew and moisture resistance. When using new materials, it should be tested by the product's damp heat test or other relevant media tests to achieve moisture resistance or other relevant requirements.
(2) Insulating parts
Epoxy phenolic laminates made of glass fiber, asbestos, mica, etc. should be used. All insulating parts should be immersed. Wood should be used as groove or cushion. Bamboo wedges must be processed by transformer oil. For small motors.
(3) UV influence
Materials that are heavily affected by ultraviolet light, such as industrial rubber, ordinary polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, etc., should be avoided. Use butyl cyanide rubber, butyl rubber or tropical polyvinyl chloride as much as possible.
(4) Impregnating materials
For E and B insulation, epoxy resin paint can be used; for F and H insulation, silicon organic paint or polyimide paint can be used.
(5) The insulating material used in wet tropical motors is preferably that the material itself has anti-fungal ability. If it is necessary to use mildew-resistant materials, it must take anti-mildew measures.
Special note: The anti-fungal agent is toxic to the human body, and labor protection measures should be strengthened when anti-mildew treatment is carried out.
(6) Dipping paint
As far as possible, vacuum pressure impregnation, drip immersion and overall dipping process with good moisture resistance are adopted. During the baking process, the paint base must be completely cured. In addition, epoxy powder deposited insulation also has good moisture resistance.
