How to distinguish between 380V motor and 6KV motor
The rated voltage is different, the starting current and the working current are different. The higher the voltage, the smaller the current, the different insulation and withstand voltage of the motor, the same is true for the winding of the motor winding, the motor with the same power, the high voltage motor wire is lower than the low voltage. There are fewer, and the cables used are different.
6KV motor: The rated working voltage of the motor is 6KV. A motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. It uses a coiled coil (that is, a stator winding) to generate a rotating magnetic field and acts on a rotor (such as a squirrel-cage closed aluminum frame) to form a magnetoelectric rotational torque. The electric motor is divided into a direct current motor and an alternating current motor according to the use of the power source. The electric motor in the electric power system is mostly an alternating current motor, and may be a synchronous motor or an asynchronous motor (the stator magnetic field speed of the motor and the rotational speed of the rotor are not kept at the synchronous speed).
There are several main differences in the structure between the 380 volt motor and the 6000 volt motor:
The first is the difference in the insulation of the coil, 380 volt motor, the coil is mainly used enameled wire or other simple insulation, the insulation of 6000 volt motor usually adopts multi-layer structure, the structure is more complicated, and the pressure resistance is higher.
The second is the difference in heat dissipation structure. The 380 volt motor mainly uses a coaxial fan to directly blow heat. The 6000 volt motor mostly has an independent heat sink. Usually there are two types of fans, one set of internal circulation fans and one set of external circulation fans. . The two sets of fans operate at the same time, and heat exchange is performed on the heat sink to remove heat from the outside of the motor.
Third, different bearing structures, low-voltage motors usually have a set of bearings in front and rear, and 6kv high-voltage motors, because of the heavy load, usually there are two sets of bearings at the shaft end, the number of non-axial end bearings depends on the load, and special Sliding bearings are used for large motors.
other:
1. The higher the voltage level, the larger the capacity is; therefore, the large motor must use high voltage. Of course, the 200KW motor is not too big, and three voltage levels appear.
2. The higher the voltage level, the higher the installation cost; although the voltage increase current becomes smaller, the wire and cable cross section can be selected to be smaller, but the cost of other high-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear and other equipment is still increased. The initial investment is large, so small businesses are willing to use low-voltage equipment when they are new;
3. The higher the voltage level, the lower the total operating cost; the small current brings about the reduction of power loss, which is suitable in the long run. The cumulative effect is amazing, so many large enterprises transform low-voltage motors into high-voltage motors during technical transformation. ;
4. The higher the high voltage level, the larger the space occupied; because of the high voltage control cabinet;
5. The higher the high voltage level, the easier the starting of the motor is, the more the starting torque is increased, and the starting and controlling are relatively simple (I think);
6. The higher the voltage level, the more complicated the maintenance management; therefore, small enterprises are willing to use low voltage, and large enterprises are willing to use high voltage motors.
