With the continuous development of automation units, the logic control of relay control and separation of electronic components has gradually been eliminated. Although PLC (programmable controller) is stable and convenient, it is still the main force of the automation unit controller. However, it has complicated peripheral circuits, and needs to be configured with logic, circuit, oil temperature, oil temperature logic judgment circuit and port expansion relay and other insurmountable defects. The professional controller is based on the microprocessor, and the generator voltage, diesel engine speed and water temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, overcurrent, short circuit and other signals are input into the microcomputer system through sampling and conversion to realize the self-starting and self-starting of the diesel generator set. The controller is mainly composed of three parts: (1) motor control part, which mainly includes voltage regulating device, overload, short circuit protection unit and voltage regulator. (3) Microcomputer control part, which is the core of automatic control of diesel generator set, mainly composed of host control unit, signal detection unit, power drive unit, parameter display unit and power supply unit.

The main functions of the professional controller control system are as follows:

1) It has three operating modes: automatic, manual and experimental.

2) It is possible to monitor the phase (line) voltage, current, frequency, speed, power, temperature and pressure of the generator and the city network in real time without external instruments. Real-time alarm for faults such as overspeed, low oil pressure, high water temperature, overvoltage, undervoltage, overfrequency, underfrequency, overcurrent, short circuit, and startup.

3) It can be automatically adjusted by comparing the output voltage and frequency of the unit with the set value, without the need of an external voltage frequency controller.

4) It can automatically maintain the quasi-start state of the unit.

5) It can realize the emergency start and self-start of the unit

6) Can realize automatic switching between diesel generator sets and mains

7) With programmable fault input port, it can freely program fault type, alarm and related parameters.
