The performance requirements for the cover paint are fast drying, strong adhesion, hard paint film, high mechanical strength, moisture resistance, oil resistance and corrosion resistance. The hardness of the enamel paint film is larger than that of the paint-based varnish. The heat conduction, heat resistance and arc resistance are better, but other electrical properties are slightly worse, and it is mostly used for coil and metal surface coating. Drying type cover paint characteristics and precautions
Dry-type cover paint does not need to be baked, but the performance is worse than that of the dry type. It is mainly used for surface coating of large electrical equipment or parts that are not suitable for baking. However, parts that are baked and suitable for baking should be selected as dry type. Cover the paint.
When using the cover paint, the viscosity and uniformity of the paint, the baking temperature and the cleanliness of the paint should be strictly controlled, otherwise the dryness and surface quality of the paint film will be affected. The enamel contains fillers or pigments, which are prone to precipitation, agglomeration, uneven viscosity and discoloration during storage. Stir well during the paint adjustment and before use. If the surface of the paint is crusted, it should be carefully removed or filtered to prevent the surface quality of the paint film from being mixed into the paint.
The cover paint can be applied by spraying, brushing, dip coating, etc., usually by multiple coating processes, typically twice.
