Excavator generator daily maintenance
Nowadays, the electronic and automatic development of excavators are relatively fast, which makes the excavator's work efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection, light operation, safety and comfort, reliability and durability improved a lot. However, the electronic and automation of the excavator cannot be separated from an important basic object, that is, the generator. Today we are talking about the daily maintenance of the generator.
As the basis of electronic and automation of the excavator, the importance of the generator is self-evident. If there is a problem with the generator, then there will be insufficient battery power, insufficient brightness of the work light, insufficient display of the instrument panel, etc. A series of problems, serious people will cause damage to the instrument panel and computer board. Since the generator is so important, what problems should the generator pay attention to in daily maintenance? Let's talk about it briefly.
1. Check if the slip ring (also called the contact ring) of the generator is dirty.
Since the rotor is rotating, the excitation current is transmitted to the winding (excitation winding) of the rotor by the contact of the carbon brush and the slip ring. Therefore, once the slip ring is dirty, the field current will not be transmitted to the field winding of the rotor, so the generator will not have the problem of generating electricity.
