Regeneration energy treatment
During the ascending or descending process of the elevator, the motor will be in a regenerative power generation state due to the difference in load. The six feedback diodes in the inverter convert the mechanical energy of the transmission into electrical energy fed back to the intermediate DC loop and cause the voltage across the storage capacitor to rise. If the necessary measures are not taken, the inverter trips the overvoltage when the DC link capacitor voltage rises to the protection limit.
There are two options for the treatment of continuous regenerative energy.
1. Set a resistor in the middle DC loop to allow continuous regenerative energy to be dissipated through the resistor in the form of heat;
2. Using the regenerative rectifier method, the continuous regenerative energy is sent back to the grid. This method is called feedback braking.
