DC motor 3D model virtual design
A direct current motor is an electric motor that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy. Due to its good speed regulation performance, it is widely used in power drag. The DC motor is divided into three types according to the excitation mode: permanent magnet, other excitation and self-excitation. The self-excitation is divided into three types: shunt excitation, series excitation and re-excitation.
DC motors with different excitation methods have different characteristics. In general, the main excitation modes of DC motors are shunt-type, series-excitation and compound-excitation. The main excitation modes of DC generators are the overexcitation, shunt-excitation and compound-excitation modes.
Basic structure
It is divided into two parts: the stator and the rotor. Note: Do not confuse the commutator with the commutator.
The stator includes: a main magnetic pole, a base, a commutating pole, a brush device, and the like.
The rotor includes: an armature core, an armature winding, a commutator, a shaft and a fan.
Characteristics
(1) The speed regulation performance is good. The so-called "speed regulation performance" refers to the motor's artificially changing the speed of the motor under certain load conditions. The DC motor can achieve uniform and smooth stepless speed regulation under heavy load conditions, and the speed regulation range is wide.
(2) The starting torque is large. The speed adjustment can be achieved evenly and economically. Therefore, any machine that starts under heavy load or requires uniform adjustment of the rotational speed, such as a large reversible rolling mill, a winch, an electric locomotive, a tram, etc., uses direct current.
