Customized asynchronous motor

Due to the large output and wide use of asynchronous motors, it is required to have a wide range of varieties, specifications and a variety of machinery. Therefore, the design and production of customized asynchronous motors should pay special attention to standardization, serialization and generalization.Among all kinds of series products, the three-phase asynchronous motor series with the largest output and the most widely used as the basic series; There are also a number of derived series (derived series with partial modifications to the base series) and specialized series (series with special structures designed for special needs).

The asynchronous motor was invented in 1885 by The Italian physicist and electrical engineer Ferris. In 1888, an experimental report was presented and a strict scientific description of the rotating magnetic field was made, which laid a foundation for the development of asynchronous motor and self-starting motor in the future.Ferraris believed that his theory of rotating magnetic fields and the new products he developed were of far more scientific value than material value, so he purposely did not patent his invention, but demonstrated the latest results to the public in the laboratory. He also advocated the use of alternating current systems.Nikola Tesla patented the induction motor in the United States that same year.A year later, Mikhail Dolivo-Dobrovolsky invented the cage induction motor.Asynchronous motors are developing rapidly. For asynchronous motors of the same size, the rated power increased from 5.5kW in 1897 to 74.6KW in 1976.Squirrel cage induction motor is the most widely used induction motor.
